At PangaDirect we believe in radical transparency. We only collect what we absolutely need to verify landlords and connect tenants with properties. We never upload identity documents. We never store payment information. We never track tenants personally. This policy explains exactly what we do and do not do with your information.

1. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you submit a property listing: • Your full name • Your WhatsApp number and any alternative contact numbers you provide • Your email address (optional) • Property details including type, area, nearest landmark, street directions, and optional Google Maps link • Your monthly rent amount and property description • Anonymous tenant click logs (session ID only — no personal tenant data is ever stored)

2. How We Verify

Property verification at PangaDirect is conducted entirely via a live WhatsApp video call with our team. During the verification call, you will be asked to: • Do a brief live walkthrough of the property No documents, scans, or photographs are uploaded to our platform. Nothing is stored beyond the basic listing information you submitted in your form. Verification is done entirely on the WhatsApp call.

3. Location Data

We collect your property's nearest landmark and, where available, its GPS coordinates or Google Maps link. This information is used to help tenants locate your property before visiting. All location details are confirmed accurate during the verification call before your listing goes live. Landmark and approximate location data is displayed publicly on your listing. Your exact street address is not published — it is shared directly by you with interested tenants via WhatsApp.

4. What We Do NOT Store

PangaDirect does not store the following: • No document uploads of any kind • No tenant personal data (names, phone numbers, or identity information) • No payment details of any kind • No WhatsApp message content (we never read your messages) For tenants, we only log an anonymous session ID when the "Chat with Landlord on WhatsApp" button is clicked. This allows us to count how many times a listing has been contacted without identifying any individual tenant.

5. How Long We Keep Data

Landlord listing information is retained only for as long as the listing is active on our platform. When a property is rented and the landlord requests their listing to be closed, or when a listing expires, all associated landlord data is deleted from our system. If you wish to have your data deleted before your listing closes, you may contact us at any time via WhatsApp and we will process your request promptly.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to: • Request access to the personal information we hold about you • Request correction of any inaccurate information • Request deletion of your data at any time • Withdraw your consent for us to hold your information To exercise any of these rights, please contact us directly via WhatsApp. We will respond to all requests within 5 business days.

We take your privacy seriously and will only collect, use, and store data in accordance with the requirements of this Act and any other applicable Zambian data protection regulations. This Privacy Policy was last updated in 2025 and may be updated from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated to registered landlords via WhatsApp.
